The SUB2000 CQB is introduced in a refreshed configuration featuring KelTec’s integrally suppressed barrel, engineered as a complete system for improved balance, sound mitigation, and reliability. This updated model incorporates the SUB2000 GEN3 rotating forend and now utilizes the standard GLK19 grip configuration, while shipping with a Magpul® GLK17 magazine paired with a KelTec magazine sleeve for optimal fit and function. Although the SUB2000 CQB Defender remains an NFA-regulated firearm, the $200 federal tax stamp is no longer required, reducing the overall cost of ownership for this one-of-a-kind folding carbine. This milestone makes the refreshed SUB2000 CQB a fitting way to kick off KelTec’s 35th Anniversary in 2026.
