The Colt M5 incorporates a variety of upgrades that improve upon the M16 and M4 platforms proven performance and reliability. The M5 features an all-new modular M-LOK® compatible upper receiver and handguard assembly with improved barrel retention and interface, for increased accuracy and rigidity. The all-new Colt M5 lower receiver has integrated ambidextrous features such as the selector, magazine catch, and bolt catch/release. These features allow for ambidextrous use of the rifle for both left and right handed shooters. With the majority of parts and training compatible with the battletested Colt M4 Carbine, the new Colt M5 brings premium features to end users with minimal training.
