Spyderco Autonomy 2 Automatic Knife with G-10 Scales

The Spyderco Autonomy 2 is an automatic knife built on a design originally developed to meet the requirements of U.S. Coast Guard rescue swimmers. This second-generation model carries forward the core features of the original Autonomy while incorporating refinements oriented toward utilitarian everyday use.

The open-backed handle is constructed with full stainless steel liners flanked by textured G-10 scales. An oversized firing button is designed for easy indexing and includes a sliding safety to prevent unintentional activation. The button extends through the opposite-side liner, a design detail intended to maximize lock strength.
