Buy from ICB and there is no transfer fee, for firearms or NFA items. Transfer fees are non-refundable if a background check is denied.
// How a standard transfer works
When buying online, pick ICB Firearms as your FFL dealer. If the seller needs our license, have them email us and we send it directly.
When it arrives we check it in to our records and contact you to book a time. No need to tell us it is coming.
Bring your ID (and CPL or LTP for a handgun). We complete the ATF Form 4473 and background check with you.

Buy it from ICB, with no transfer fee. We are your point of contact from purchase to pickup.
We help you file the ATF eForm 4 with your fingerprints and photo, as an individual or trust.
Your item stays safely with us while ATF reviews the application.
Once approved we call you, complete the paperwork and hand it over.

Paperwork goes in the box. Ask your seller to include the receipt or invoice with the firearm. If it is missing, we hold the firearm until you bring us the correct papers.

$40 per firearm, $40 for each additional firearm picked up at the same appointment, and $125 for an NFA item. There is no transfer fee when you buy the firearm or NFA item from ICB.
A valid, unexpired Michigan driver’s license or state ID with your current address. Handgun buyers must be 21+ and bring a CPL or LTP. Long gun buyers must be 18+.
Yes. All visits are by appointment so we have your paperwork ready. We call or text as soon as your firearm is logged in.
Transfer fees are non-refundable if you fail the background check. If you bought the firearm or NFA item from us, you can choose a 25% restocking fee or appeal the denial through the FBI.
Yes. The seller must include a full copy of their driver’s license with the shipment.
Yes. Each additional firearm picked up at the same appointment is $40 per serial number.
