Sierra High Velocity Varminter Bullets .22 cal .224″ 60 gr HP 100/ct

The Sierra High Velocity Varminter Rifle Bullets are designed for precision and explosive expansion, making them ideal for varmint hunting. These .22 caliber bullets, measuring .224 inches and weighing 60 grains, perform exceptionally well in rifles with larger-capacity cartridges like the 22-250 or 220 Swift, especially with barrels featuring a 1x14" twist rate. For medium-capacity cases such as the 223 Remington, faster twist rates of 1x12" or less are recommended for optimal performance. While these hollow point bullets are not advised for handgun hunting, they have proven successful on half-size NRA Silhouette targets. Sierra introduced the #1375 in 1984, and they remain a popular choice for long-range accuracy and effective expansion.

Available from ICB Firearms, these bullets can be shipped nationwide or picked up locally in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan.
