The Area 419 Hellfire 2P is a self-timing muzzle brake designed for semi-automatic and hunting weapon systems with barrels of 20 inches or less. It is part of Area 419's patent-pending Hellfire Modular Brake System and is offered in a 9mm bore configuration with a 5/8-24 adapter included.
Key Features
Part of the patent-pending Area 419 Hellfire Modular Brake System
Self-timing design: the brake does not rotate as the collar is torqued, eliminating guesswork about port alignment
Simple round knurled collar requires no tools to time the brake
Return-to-zero capability: removal and reinstallation does not require a zero change
Universal adapter torques onto the barrel with a 5/8-inch wrench and is designed to remain in place
Left-hand thread connects the brake and collar assembly to the adapter
Taper-lock engagement: rotating the brake until level and pressing it into the adapter locks it onto the taper; the collar is then tightened by hand
9mm bore with 5/8-24 thread adapter
Designed for barrels of 20 inches or less
The Hellfire 2P uses a simplified two-bore-size caliber selection approach. Area 419 determined that the efficiency difference between a caliber-specific bore and the next size up is minimal, allowing the system to cover a range of compatible calibers without requiring separate SKUs for each.
ICB Firearms carries Area 419 products and offers local pickup in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, as well as nationwide shipping.
