Nite Ize CamJam XT Aluminum Cord Tightener

The Nite Ize CamJam XT Aluminum Cord Tightener combines a carabiner clip with a rotating cam mechanism into a single knot-free tightening and tensioning tool. Built from cast aluminum, the CamJam XT is designed to tighten, tension, connect, and secure loads using standard paracord ranging from 1/16" to 3/16" (2mm–5mm) in diameter. The load limit is 280 lbs, or 100 lbs when used with the included 10 ft. coyote paracord.

The CamJam XT can be set up in two ways. In the Fixed End System, anchor the carabiner to a hook, D-ring, or loop, then feed the cord through the cam until the desired tension is reached. Pulling the cord firmly locks the cam in place. In the Loop System, tie a knot to create a loop at one end of the cord, clip the CamJam XT into that loop, and pull the other end through the cam to bundle or wrap a load. To release, rotate the cam lock lever and pull the cord upward. The cam can be adjusted and re-adjusted repeatedly.
