With a 10-round magazine capacity and a non-threaded muzzle, this variant is configured for compliance in states with restrictive rifle regulations, including New York and California.

The Dissent BR3 carries forward the same design philosophy CMMG applied to the Dissent BR4, adapting it to the large-frame Mk3 platform. The rifle retains traditional AR ergonomics and furniture compatibility.
