The FN SCAR 15P VPR is a 5.56x45mm pistol from FN featuring a 7.5-inch hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel and a short-stroke gas piston operating system. Built on a hard-anodized monolithic aluminum receiver, the SCAR 15P VPR includes MIL-STD-1913 accessory rails at four positions for mounting lights, lasers, and other accessories.

The non-reciprocating bolt carrier assembly and dual ambidextrous charging handles and safety lever are among the notable mechanical features of this platform. A 3-prong flash hider is installed at the muzzle. This model ships with a 10-round steel body magazine with a low-friction follower and includes a zippered carrying case.
