The Luth-AR MBA-3 is a fully adjustable carbine buttstock assembly designed to mount on mil-spec or commercial buffer tubes, using 4 of the 6 available positions. The MBA-3 is compatible with all .223 and most .308 AR carbine-style rifles. It is not compatible with A2 standard buffer tubes, and is not designed for use with large-bore calibers such as .338 Lapua or .50 BMG.
3-Axis Adjustable Butt Plate
The butt plate assembly provides three axes of adjustment and extends an additional 1-1/16 inches of length of pull beyond the stock body:
Horizontal: Linear adjustment for length of pull
Vertical: Adjusts butt plate fit to the curvature of the shoulder
Lateral: Up to 1/2 inch left or right cast
The butt plate assembly is interchangeable with the original MBA-1 buttstock. The black MBA-3 includes a medium soft rubber recoil pad (Duro 85).
