Safariland Model 6390 ALS Mid-Ride Level I Retention Duty Holster for Sig Sauer P229

The Safariland Model 6390 is an open-top duty holster for the Sig Sauer P229 (also fitting the Sig Sauer P228), built around Safariland's Automatic Locking System (ALS). Once the firearm is holstered, the ALS automatically locks it in place, retaining the weapon in all directions without the use of straps or snaps.

To draw, the shooter deactivates the ALS with the thumb and executes a straight upward draw. The holster is fully operable with the thumb alone.
