The Renegade+ is built around POF-USA's 9-position Dictator adjustable gas block, which provides control over gas flow whether tuning for different ammunition loads or suppressor use. The straight gas tube addresses heat accumulation found in standard gas tube configurations, and the roller cam pin is designed to work with the upper receiver with reduced friction. The patented heat sink barrel nut is integrated into the handguard system over the 10.5-inch barrel.

The Gen4 lower receiver is fully ambidextrous and houses a flat 3.5 lb match-grade trigger secured with KNS Precision anti-walk pins. The M-LOK compatible Renegade rail covers the length of the barrel and provides attachment points along its surface.
