SureFire SFMB-556-1/2-28 SOCOM Muzzle Brake 5.56mm 1/2×28

The SureFire SFMB-556-1/2-28 SOCOM Muzzle Brake is a precision-machined muzzle device chambered for 5.56mm barrels with a 1/2x28 thread pitch. Manufactured by SureFire, it is machined from U.S. mill-certified stainless steel with a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating and a heat-treated finish.

The SFMB-556-1/2-28 incorporates SureFire's Impulse Diffusion design, which is intended to reduce recoil impulse and muzzle rise while minimizing side blast and rear-directed concussion. It also functions as a mounting adapter for SureFire SOCOM Series Fast-Attach suppressors, featuring multiple bearing surfaces for alignment during suppressor attachment.
