The American Tactical FXH-45 Moxie is a full-size hybrid 1911-pattern semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. American Tactical built the Moxie around a patented polymer frame with two metal inserts paired with a 4140 steel slide finished in parkerized coating. The frame incorporates built-in finger grooves.

The FXH-45 Moxie operates on a single-action trigger and features a 5-inch barrel. One 8-round magazine is included. A removable top plate allows for the addition of an optics mount, and the pistol accepts Glock-pattern front and rear sights, including aftermarket options. Black polymer grips are included, and the Moxie is compatible with most standard 1911 parts and grips.
