Griffin Armament 24MM1228A Thread Adapter 24mm x 1.5mm to 1/2″x28 Melonite QPQ Black

The Griffin Armament 24MM1228A is a thread adapter that converts a 24mm x 1.5mm host thread to a 1/2"x28 output thread, intended for use on AK-platform rifles with a 24mm x 1.5mm muzzle thread. The adapter indexes against the barrel muzzle face rather than the front sight base, a design Griffin Armament states is intended to provide superior theoretical alignment accuracy compared to detented adapters common to these platforms.

The adapter includes 27mm wrench flats to assist with installation. Griffin Armament specifies a recommended installation torque of 50 ft-lbs and recommends qualified gunsmith installation and alignment verification prior to suppressor use. This adapter is intended for rifles with clean muzzle faces that are perpendicular to the bore.
