Swift A-Frame Rifle Bullets .25 Cal .257″ 120 gr AFSS 50-Count

The Swift A-Frame Rifle Bullets in .25 caliber (.257" diameter) offer a 120-grain projectile in a 50-count box, designated AFSS. These bullets feature a construction designed around controlled expansion and weight retention across a range of impact scenarios.

Key Features

• Caliber: .25 cal (.257" diameter)
• Bullet weight: 120 grains
• Designation: AFSS
• Box count: 50 bullets
• Soft semi-Spitzer lead nose from tip to base
• Pure copper jacket
• Jacket tapers at the tip for controlled expansion regardless of velocity
• Core tapers at the base to produce the momentum necessary for penetration
• Wraparound jacket on the base to resist deformation and retain original weight
• Nose design provides protection from recoil while seated in the magazine

The A-Frame's construction centers on a dual-purpose jacket design. The pure copper jacket tapers at the tip, which governs the expansion rate without dependence on a specific velocity threshold. At the opposite end, the core taper at the base works to maintain the penetration momentum the bullet generates on impact. The wraparound base jacket completes the design by helping preserve the bullet's original weight and resisting deformation through the terminal phase.

The soft semi-Spitzer lead nose runs from the tip to the base of the nose section, and its position within the case protects it from deformation caused by recoil while the round remains in the magazine.
