The Barrett Model 99 in .416 Barrett is a bolt-action rifle designed for exceptional accuracy and reliability. With a barrel length of 32 inches and overall length of 50 inches, this black-finished rifle is built to perform in long-range precision shooting. Weighing 25 pounds, it features a robust construction with a one-piece 7000 series aluminum alloy extrusion and a heat-treated steel M1913 rail for scope mounting.
The rifle's match-grade barrel and heavy contour ensure repeatable accuracy. Machined from a single piece of S-7 tool steel, the bolt features 15 lugs that lock into the barrel extension for strength. The Model 99's few moving parts and quick-release assembly pins make it easy to maintain and disassemble without tools. The detachable bipod adds versatility, making it suitable for benchrest shooting as well.
