The DPMS Anvil is an American-made AK-pattern pistol chambered in 7.62x39. This configuration features a 12.5-inch gas nitrided 4150 steel barrel with a 1:10 twist rate and a hammer-forged front trunnion, bolt, and carrier. The muzzle is threaded M14x1LH and fitted with an AK M14x1LH compensator.
The receiver is stamped steel. The pistol ships with a classic black upper and lower handguard set, a classic black AK grip, and a single-stage single-hook fire control group. Sights consist of a 90-degree combo sight/gas block and an 800-meter rear sight.

The included JMac Customs side folding Picatinny adapter allows the user to attach a folding rifle stock accessory. Per the manufacturer, after submitting the required paperwork and receiving ATF tax stamp approval, the desired furniture can be attached and the folding stock dropped into place.
