The Ruger SR1911 Target is a .45 ACP pistol built on the classic 1911 Series 70 design. It features a 5-inch stainless steel barrel and stainless steel slide, with components machined using Ruger's CNC-controlled process. The grip frame is a low-glare stainless steel unit fitted with deluxe checkered G-10 grip panels.
The SR1911 Target includes Bomar-style adjustable rear sights, an ambidextrous manual safety, an oversized beavertail grip safety, an extended thumb safety, and an extended slide stop lever. The skeletonized hammer and lightweight aluminum skeletonized trigger are part of the standard configuration, as are an oversized ejection port and an extended magazine release.
This pistol has a capacity of 8+1 rounds and ships with two stainless steel magazines and a bushing wrench. The SR1911 Target accepts standard aftermarket 1911 parts.
