The Safariland Model 7378 7TS is a concealment holster combining the Automatic Locking System (ALS) with an open-top design. The ALS secures the firearm automatically upon holstering. To draw, the shooter sweeps the thumb release while acquiring a shooting grip, allowing a natural draw stroke without an additional step.

The holster is constructed from SafariSeven, Safariland's non-marking nylon blend material. According to Safariland, SafariSeven is weather- and temperature-resistant and will not scratch or mar firearm finishes. Raised interior stand-offs are incorporated into the design to help direct dirt and moisture away from the firearm.

This model includes both a paddle attachment and a belt loop, giving the user the option to choose their preferred carry method. The holster is fitted specifically for the Glock 22 Gen 5.
